I’m a photographer, illustrator, and occasional writer.
Before switching to writing and illustrating short stories and children’s books, I spent years working as a journalist and documentary photographer. I have collaborated with several online and printed periodicals such as Liberali and EurasiaNet. My photo works have appeared in The Guardian, The Washington Post, L’actualité, National Geographic Traveler etc. I have also taught a graduate-level Visual Storytelling course at the Caucasus School of Journalism and Management in Tbilisi, Georgia.
